  Sad news to family members and visitors of Century Sat. MBC package on Badr 5 @ 26 degree East has been scrambled. That means, it cannot be free any more. If your dish is facing Badr 5 and you would like to enjoy quality free channels on KU band. I would advised, you point your dish to Abs 3 @ 3 degree west. Frequency: 11150 V 45000. You can also face second dish to Eutelsat 16, Eutelsat 7 east, Astra 2f and many others. Thank you.

   I decided to write this article to explain to our distinguished family and visitors of Century Sat. Many people sent email to me complaining that after rescaning their decoder, some added free channels of some satellite didn't appeared on their decoder. An example was someone who said he could not get the newly added four channels to Eutelsat 16 @ 16 degree East. The channels are ABK TV , Canal Bonnes Affaires TV, Liberty TV , DBS TV and LTM but LTM service was not restored and the LTM later left the Sat. The other four channels are there. This incident can only occurred, if your decoder is not HD compatible and if you are using 60 cm dish size instead of 90cm dish. It can also occurred if your dish is not properly positioned. It can also occurred if your LNB is not original and fails to track some low signal. To enjoy free to air channels, please use HD compatible decoder. I don't want to advertised for any company producing decoder for free on this platform. I cannot mentioned a particular decoder but buy original HD free to air receiver. Thank you.

How to track ABS 3a @ 3 degree west (New continental decoder position)

   You must have heard that Continental decoder, the operators of best free to air channels on the collapsed Amos 5 has moved to ABS 3a @ 3 degree west. To track this sat, you need 60cm, 90cm or 100 cm dish depend on your location. Abs 3 degree west is not far from SIRIUS 4 East. Just move your dish towards west from SIRIUS position. You need to move the elevation and the azimuth of the dish you are using. Abs 3 degree west is towards going west position from SIRIUS. You know SIRUS and SES 5 are very close. You will get Abs toward that direction going west from SIRUS.  Track the sat using the following frequency: 11088 H 30000 or 11150 V 45000. Thank you for always visiting Century Sat.

Track Lualua TV and Sky Vision on ABS 3a @ 3 degree west.

Continental Digital Media (Continental Decoder) says it has resumes broadcasting on ABS 3a @ 3 degree West.

 Continental Digital Media (Continental Decoder) has announced that it  have started broadcasting on ABS 3a @ 3 degree west. Frequency: 11150 V 4500. This was announced on the company's Facebook page. May be you can give it a trial to confirmed the claim.  I will keep on updating you on the latest development.
