        A new Islamic channel ( Al wilayah TV) has started transmission on Eutelsat 16 @ 16 degree east with frequency 10804 H 30000. There are other Islamic channels which you can watch with just 60cm to 90cm size. They are as follows:
1. Africa TV3 ---- Eutelsat 16 @ 16 degree east with frequency 10804 H 29995
2. Al wilayah TV ---- Eutelsat 16 @ 16 degree east with frequency 10804 H 30000
3. Madani Channel ----- Intelsat 20 @ 68.5 degree east with frequency 12562 H 26657
4. MTA Africa ------ Intelsat 20 @ 68.5 degree east with frequency 12562 H 26657
5. Ahlullbayt TV ------ Intelsat 20 @ 68.5 degree east with frequency 12722 H 26677.
6. Hadi TV5 ------ Intelsat 20 @ 68.5 with 12722 H 26657
7. Al Afrikiy ------ Astra 2f @ 28.2 degree east with frequency 11675 H 30000. You can also watch Islamic channels such as Sunna TV, Sunna Savannah, Peace TV, Quran TV on Eutelsat 7B @ 7 degree east.
     Meanwhile, MYTV ( pay TV) has dropped MBC channel package on Eutlsat 16 @ 16degree east with effect from 1st of March, 2016. Any body who subscribe to MYTV package will not be able to watch MBC channels any more. The reason they give was that MBC package is now broadcasting free in Africa on Eutelsat 7 @ 7.3 degree west. To me, it is a selfish and narrow minded reasons. MBC package are free over Africa is not and cannot be a genuine reason to dropped those channels without considering your subscribers.
